Well the wind won this round …
Know that we had a plan in place and were able to enjoy what fun we could before the strong winds necessitated closing the 2024 Coachella Valley Wildflower Festival at approximately noon yesterday, four hours short of our intended event ending.
Everyone pitched in to help our Vendors & Exhibitors get their tents down, then shut down Friends’ Gift Shop, Raffle, Welcome and Information booths, the Kids Zone and Art Gallery — and keep everyone safe.
We forever are indebted to our VOLUNTEERS who sustain this event.
Thank you to our presenting sponsor, The City of Palm Desert.
We could not do this without our faithful fiscal and in-kind sponsors.
Thank you Vendors & Exhibitors for helping the event flourish.
Thumbs Up to our Food Vendors for sticking it out, along with our live band WYLDSKY
The Friends of the Desert Mountains’ dedicated Staff and Board understand the considerable effort it takes to put on a free community event of this nature, and thoroughly appreciate the support and partnership of every one of you.
