Celebrate National Bat Conservation Week!  Join bat biologist Dani Ortiz on an easy night walk around the Santa Rosa & San Jacinto Mountains National Monument Visitor Center on an adventure looking for bats!  Multiple bat stations will be set up for people to see how these amazing creatures of the night communicate and can be identified on bat detector units as well as how to identify bats in flight!  Bring a flashlight or headlamp for an easy walk between bat stations. This is a family event. Minors must be accompanied by parent or guardian.
