Join SoCal Adaptive Sports, Friends of the Desert Mountains, and Desert Recreation District volunteer docents on a hike for persons with disabilities at Cahuilla Hills Park and Fox Canyon. We did this fun canyon last spring. Everyone enjoyed the hike, so let’s do it again. The trail into the canyon is level and easy to hike. On our return, we hike up then down the trail and loop back to the main park. Let’s get moving.
This is a dog friendly trail. Hike rating is easy and approximately a 2.0 miles loop. Elevation gain, about 100 feet. Bring snacks, 2 liters of water per person and your hiking poles. Wear close-toed shoes, hat and sunscreen. Due to public health regulations it is suggested that you wear a mask and practice social distancing.
