Join our volunteer docents for a hike in Dead Indian Canyon. This canyon is open November and December. This Canyon provides an opportunity to learn about the endangered Peninsular Bighorn Sheep. AND they just might drop in for a visit. We will have fun facts about the local desert flora and fauna and how the Native Cahuilla lived off the land. Hike rating is easy and 2 miles round trip. Elevation gain approximately 50 feet. Bring snacks and 2 liters of water per person. Wear close-toed shoes, hat and sunscreen. Due to public health regulations, it is suggested that you wear a mask and practice social distancing..
RSVP is required and you must bring your ticket with you for check-in at 8:45 AM. Ticket reservations begins 14 days prior to the event. Sorry, no dogs allowed.
