This is a moderate hiking trail, beginning at 5,720 ft with a 700 ft elevation gain. Starting at Tahquitz View Drive in Idyllwild, the trail ascends for 2.6 miles crossing seasonal trails mostly shaded by beautiful trees of different species, a botanist’s delight! Along the way there are scenic views of the surrounding mountain peaks.
RSVP is required and you must bring your ticket with you for check-in at 8:15 AM. Ticket reservations begin 14 days prior to the event.
