Scorpions can be classified among the most ancient and conservative arthropods both in origin and body morphology. First appearing 450 million years ago as aquatic organisms, the major biochemical, physiological, behavioral and ecological adaptations of the scorpion have ensured continued success until today. Will this success continue?
