At first glance, the desert seems to be dry and desolate, empty of living things. But after dark and away from prying eyes, the desert is full of life, with many unique animals found nowhere else on Earth. Learn about efforts to use technology to better understand and protect local wildlife with Colin Barrows, Conservation Coordinator with Friends of the Desert Mountains. This lecture is presented in partnership with Friends of the Desert Mountains and the Historical Society of Palm Desert.
