We begin at the Cahuilla Tewanet Overlook for a short interpretive walk in the Upper Sonoran life zone. You will enjoy the beautiful vistas as you learn about Cahuilla life and their usage of plants. Extend your journey as we travel up Highway 74 to the northern crossing of the Pacific Crest Trail. A short hike in this Transition Zone helps you to compare plant and animal life here, to that in the other life zones. If time permits you can enjoy a optional lunch at the nearby Paradise Cafe or Sugarloaf Cafe. Your tax deductible donations are appreciated and encouraged.
