Join volunteers from across the country who are visiting parks and open spaces to give back! This site, in the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument, provides habitat for Peninsular Bighorn Sheep, a variety of lizards and numerous species of birds. Help is needed for vegetation thinning, raking, trimming and more. Access involves driving on a dirt road: take the paved Carrizo Road off Hwy 74, then onto the dirt road (the ranch is about 3 miles in from Hwy 74). Bring gloves, sun protection, wear long pants and sturdy shoes. Tools and snacks will be provided. We will have water for your refillable bottles. Optional: bring your own picnic lunch to enjoy when done. Check-in begins at 8:45 AM.
