National Public Lands Day

Show your love and support of public lands by going outdoors and helping to clean-up and restore a spectacular area in the Santa Rosa Mountains, adjacent to the Palm Canyon Creek Wild and Scenic River.

Free t-shirts for participants while supply lasts!  Bring your gloves, wear long pants and sturdy shoes.  Don't forget your water and sun protection.  Check-in begins 7:45 AM.

This event is hosted by Bureau of Land Management and US Forest Service, in partnership with Friends of the Desert Mountains and Urban Conservation Corp.

Location: Junction off Highway 74 and Palm Canyon Drive. Follow signs down Palm Canyon Drive, dirt road, until you reach the first gate. UTM coordinates: 33.613195, -116.478577
