If you are a current Outreach Liaison or have recently completed a Friends Volunteer Opportunities application and enjoy meeting and speaking with people, this is your opportunity to learn about Friends Outreach efforts, including Public Events Outreach, Public Speaking Outreach and Community Outreach.

Friends Outreach volunteers act as liaisons between Coachella Valley residents and visitors, and Friends of the Desert Mountains. You will learn the ways you can help spread the word and support Friends’ important work: Land Acquisition, Stewardship, Education and Community Science Research.
