Bring Back a Native Species: The Desert Ghost – Sonoran Pronghorn

Defenders of Wildlife’s California Desert Representative, Tom Egan, will present on the effort to bring back the Sonoran pronghorn, an iconic desert species. The presentation will cover the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s (Service) proposal to reintroduce the endangered Sonoran pronghorn back to its native habitat within the Chuckwalla Bench Area of Critical Environmental Concern in the California Desert. Attendees will be prepped for the Service’s public meetings starting May 30 on this proposal.

This is an exciting opportunity to bring back a native species into its historic habitat and show that the Endangered Species Act works!
