Star Party in the Mountains – CANCELLED

THE GOOD NEWS: We have a winter storm warning beginning at 4pm Saturday and we might finally get some precipitation!
THE BAD NEWS: We have to cancel our 1/25 Star Party due to expected cloudy skies.
Please join us at our upcoming Star Parties either on Feb. 1st at the Visitor Center or on Feb. 22 in the Cactus Springs parking lot in Pinyon Flats. Hopefully the weather will cooperate for us then.
Join members of the Astronomical Society of the Desert for fun “sky tours” and direct observations of the night sky through telescopes and binoculars.
This is a family event. Minors must be accompanied by parent or guardian. For more information call 760-862-9984.
Etiquette: please do not touch equipment unless requested. No white lights near telescope field.
