The closest star to us is the SUN. It is about a mere 93 million miles away from us in the center of our solar system. Since life on the third rock depends on this fortunate distance, let's take a close look at our star. This presentation will cover some history of discovery, solar anatomy, and probable origin. Meet on the Visitor Center patio.
