The dramatic elevation changes in the Santa Rosa & San Jacinto Mountains give rise to five life zones, home to a diverse array of plants and animals. Take a visual tour of the five life zones within our mountains as one travels the Palms to Pines highway and ascends to Mt. San Jacinto Peak. Find out how weather, soil and elevation affect the plant and animal life within the zones.

Meet at the theater in the Avenida Palm Desert 55+ community. Parking is available on both sides of Via Tuscany (main access road for Avenida). Directional signs will be present on the day of the event.
