From Morris Ranch Road we begin the hike through a shaded meadow, onto a sunny mountain trail to the PCT and down to Cedar Springs. At the PCT, you will have fantastic views of Coachella Valley. Six years ago this trail was destroyed by fire. When that happens, what are the next steps to do restoration?

Bring your 4-legged friend as this trail is very dog friendly. Hike rating is moderately strenuous at 8 miles round trip with an elevation gain of 750 feet.
